Besides the conjectPM search you can additionally use the search function of Firefox. This can for example help you with the following task: You search inside a folder which contains many documents for a specific term in the document name.
Using the Firefox search you can quickly and easily search through all the content displayed on your monitor. Doing so you can configure Firefox that it immediately searches when you start typing on your keyboard.
- Open Firefox.
- Open the menu via the button with three horizontal stripes at the top right corner.
- Select "Options".
- Change to the "Advanced" settings.
- Enable the option "Search for text when I start typing" on the "General" tab.
- Close Firefox to validate the changes.
When you are in a folder or on any other site in conjectPM and you search for a term, you just start typing this term on your keyboard. Firefox now displays a search field in status bar in left lower corner and marks the first search hit on the monitor. With the shortcut CRTL+G you jump to the next search hit.
