- Open the "Drawing Management" application.
- Upload the new revision of an existing drawing with a new revision number and/or status. To do so you just have to change the revision number and/or status code in the drawing name. Refer to Uploading and distributing drawings for more information about the drawing upload.
Here is an example from a demo project (the drawing code as well as the revision and status codes are just an example and are probably different in your project):
Already existing drawing/revision:
AFP_2_02_003_B_I_Floor plan second floor.pdf Revision with revision number B and status I for "For Information"
AFP_2_02_003_C_A_Floor plan second floor.pdf Revision with revision number C and status A for "Approved"
- Refresh the drawing list to display the new revisions.
|Imortant: The file name of the new revision must exactly match apart from revision number and/or status the name of the already existing drawing. This is especially important for the free text. If you e.g. change the freetext, the system creates a new object and no new revision.
Via the "Properties" of the drawing or the filter "All drawings" under "My drawings" you can download previous respectively all revisions of a drawing at any time. On the "History" tab you can track all actions performed with the drawing.
